I actually disagree. It says right on the description: "Use this forum if you are not certain if the topic is directly related to Scratch." Also, it's "Inspiration and more", so its stuff for ideas on scratch, and off topic.

"More" has its limits. More isn't a box for everything un-Scratch-related to go in. It's for stuff like... well, read this description on "more".

I'll say my opinion.

Inspiration and More.
Inspiration: Inspiration for things like your Scratch projects. Let's move on. This is not the point.
More: Aha! What is 'more' in this case anyway? I know: Things that may be off-topic but are related to Scratch somehow. Inspiration and More should be for things that are Scratch-related. These are Scratch forums! Not for un-Scratch related things! Most people do not understand this. They think they can post about stuff unrelevant to Scratch, and they can. It's legal! We all know it's wrong but it's still legal! Isn't that horrible! Inspiration and More is for inspiration. To be honest, that's all it's good for.
My two opinions:
1. Move Inspiration and More to join the Text-Based Games. It'll be out of the way. I'm a bit worried though that people will feel more free, so Inspiration and More will just become a forum with no theme. It'll be a sort of chatroom. And that's not good.
2. Clear the forum, rename it Inspiration, and move it to the forum section Scratch. It'll just be inspiration... as it was supposed to be! Why did they have to put the word "more" up anyway? We could have avoided all this! People thought the "more" meant that they could post anything! It's pathetic!

That's enough. I'm sorry for going crazy with my opinions and cluttering them with BBCode. I just need to voice what I think.

My opinion? The word "more" in the title Inspiration and More throws people off. It fools them into thinking that they can post anything and get away with it. And they can. We need to stop this.

What do you think?

One more thing people: Stop attacking martianshark. It feels horrible when you voice something and try to correct things, and people attack you. Seriously. It isn't nice.

You're right. People'll just throw anything into Inspiration and More, when the forum should be for inspiration.

It's hard to remove 'Inspiration and More' because of it's potential as a hotbed of ideas for Scratch projects. But, in my opinion, I think Inspiration and More could be split into multiple sections such as:
Requests - For things like sprite requests, etc.
Opinion and Debate - For discussions about different ideas. Surveys included here, too.
Non-Scratch Game talk - For those who play games outside of Scratch (Pokémon, Roblox, Dragon Cave, etc.)
Non-Scratch Community talk - For things not about Scratch (like the "Recipe Book" thread, or the "Weird Dreams" thread)
Collaboration Projects - For collaborations on Scratch projects
Project Ideas Help - For help with ideas for a project

The trade-off for this splitting of the 'Inspiration and More' forum would be the possible need for more moderators to, well, help moderate it! I suppose here is where the Scratch Team and the moderators can collaborate to choose who they want as extra moderator help (assuming it is necessary. It may turn out that maybe no extra moderator help may be needed if the forum splitting idea is implemented).

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you there. 'Show and Tell' is purely for Scratch projects or galleries, 'All About Scratch' relates more to the discussion of Scratch and the Scratch community. If slight disturbances were encouraged, it would lead to disorganization (this was one of the reasons for Text-Based Games being created in the first place), which is something not desired.

dingdong, don't you get the point? People should be posting things relevant to Scratch. Inspiration and More just sounds like an excuse...
