Well, the main site, the main forum, and the TBG forums are not integrated (one of the reasons why messages appear only on the main site and not anywhere else ). It is possible that, when one part of the site is undergoing maintenance, the other parts are still up and running.

Me neither. And I don't plan on going back anytime soon. I have a big project I'm working on.

We NEED a link to the NEW TBG forums in place of where the link to old TBG forums is now.

It wont open all it does is (in code)
If (link clicked == true){ cout<<"logging in..."<<endl; cout<<"Logged in. Redirecting..." <<endl; }

I agree, they do belong in their own forum.

Chris, I'm still wondering why you aren't a mod

I don't think you can be a mod in both the regular and TBG forums

I wanted to make a text based game in the forums in scratch.
When I went to the text based games forums, the was no post new forum post.
So that's why i posted it here.
And it got reported.
People sent me a link to the text based games forums, and i clicked on the links and then this time when i went on it allowed me to make a forum post.
That's my story.

No problem, everyone makes mistakes. However, New Scratchers on the TBG's don't get the ability to create their own topics intentionally. I've heard you can use the report link to ask a mod to create your topic for you though, but I don't use the TBG's much so I don't know if it's true.
Anyway, sounds like you're a Scratcher their now so you should be able to create TBG topics their.

Now, you may be wondering what exactly defines a game and a miscellaneous thread.
Here's a summary of all the voiced opinions:
Game
A game asks for contributions simply for replies to the proposed set of rules that lead to something that gives no exact benefit to readers. A game typically asks people to read the rules and come up with their own post to play along, rather than contribute information to share with others.
Miscellaneous
These threads have their limits. First of all, chatrooms are not allowed.
The threads that fall into this category are more of little pieces of information, some beneficial and some not. If a thread is about what you're working on, that's fine. So is a survey asking for opinions on a project. What passes the limit is a thread that asks, for example, your favorite carpet color. That is slight, but spam threads are too much.

Please keep this forum clean of games. Just put them in their right place!![]()
It just has a redirect loop.

It does on two of my test accounts too. I think your account has to be a certain age for it not to be a redirect loop.

No, it's a bug having to do with new users. If you are seeing this problem drop a comment on one of my projects to let me know and I can fix it.

If you've read the topic or even the title, you'd know that they were moved to a different forum
