It got like an 8 or 8.5 on gamespot so that's pretty good.

It really depends if you want to play an addicting puzzle game or an addicting RPG.

I don't get why people think it looks fine. It looks like a game you could play on a game site for FREE

Lots of games are EXTREMELY overrated because of the general more mainstream gaming audience who play games. It used to be only enthusiasts who played, and Nintendo platformers and fighting games reigned supreme. However, games like Guitar Hero and Call Of Duty have made it "Cool" so more people play it, so companies now have a cash cow audience of teenagers who want to shoot things because they're frustrated with their adolescent lives. Hence the HUGE amount of FPS' on Xbox 360 and PS3 nowadays, and the amount of Guitar Hero games released this year:
Guitar Hero Smash Hits
Guitar Hero On Tour Modern Hits
Guitar Hero 5
Guitar Hero Van Halen
Band Hero
DJ Hero

(Note that I am not against FPS, and greatly enjoy the Metroid Prime and Half Life series. I just think that FPS has become a cash cow genre nowaday).
Also, don't play Guitar Hero. Play Rock Band.    Far more songs, and most are dlc so you can just get the ones you want without wasting money buying tons of discs of songs when you don't like half of them)

I agree. I am not an only FPS guy. I have an NES, and Nintendo 64, and a SNES. I love original games like Starfox 64 and Kirby 64. Not to mention one of my true favorites, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
