Test...

Ok, so I posted something as a first post, and I forgot to do something and I was like, so what's if I deleted the post and reposted so that way it won't say "edited by Ralphjos," (I didn't delete, I justed edited instead)

Well, a message poped up and said, "If you delete the first post in a topic, the whole topic will get deleted." Does that mean that us members are able to delete topics?  yikes

Re: Test...

No, you can only delete your own posts. It is just moderators and the Scratch team that can delete any posts.

Re: Test...

Err.. WF, your not getting the question. I know I can delete my post, but when if its the first post, it says that if you delete it the whole topic goes away. Thus, is it possible to create a post, delete it, that way you would be deleting a topic?

Re: Test...

Yes, I know, but go onto somebody else's topic and try and delete the first post. You won't be able to, but if you delete the first post of your own thread, the whole thing will be deleted.

EDIT: Or maybe you've got the definition of 'topic' in Scratch wrong. Forgive me if I'm wrong about that. But just in case you don't know, one topic in this context is like this thread. The whole of this thread has been one topic.
