At the end of every project URL, the page is automatically adding #at. Instead of http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/The-Whiz/723813 I get http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/The-Whiz/723813#at. It doesn't affect the loading of the page, but I'd like to know why it is there and what it is for.

A few days ago the scratch website went down. Andrés left a note that said they were working on it. Maybe this could be something they did? I honestly don't know.

I'm not seeing this...is anybody else? I go to a project and look at the URL and it looks the same as it always has, no extra characters. Is it still happening for you?

Very strange. But it's not doing any harm.

You can add a # to any URL and it still will take you the same page. Anything after the # is ignored by a web server and it's handled by a web browser. Typically people use it to point to specific sections of a web page (if the HTML page is coded with sections).

It doesn't seem to be happening anymore.
