Hello out there,
I'd like to perform a network installation. So far i've downloaded the msi-package.
Now, i'd like to specify the user-directory, ie. where to store the scratch-projects. I'd like install Scratch locally on every computer on the network, and i'd like the installation to be unattended.
I read all about the scratch.ini file to solve my user-directory problem, and I am aware of, that i can specify in the very same scratch.ini the path where to install Scratch. But, i've extracted the files inside th msi-package (done with both msiexec and 7-zip) and here is, what i do not understand: there seems not to be any Scratch.ini file in the msi-package.
I've installed scratch on my private home computer, and there is indeed a scrath.ini file in the C:\Program Files\Scratch\ but what's the point then with the msi-package?
Although: Will the addition of the path, where to install scratch make the msi unattendable?
As you can see, i'm a little confused. Hope som of you can help me out there.
Thanks in advance and cheers...
K.

if there is no setup available then the
best way to install scratch on all computers is to copy the whole scratch file to the shared files that will be done as scratch didnt make registry changes it will run seemlessly (I tested in our skool)

Thanks for the response.
I'm not quite sure, of what you're saying. If I understand you right, I should unpack the scratch directory somewhere and run it from there.
Scratch offers though a msi-package for network-installation og they specify, that the scratch.ini file should be customized to fit the needs, but the scratch.ini file isn't in the msi-package. So,
1) is the msi-package unattended?
2) should the - locally - created scratch.ini file edited to fit the needs? But again, i then don't understand the possibility of specifying the install-path.
Thanks,
