When I download a project to view it, because I can't do it online, I almost always get the following error message.
Cannot read: Bad Header
Could this be because I still have Scratch 1.2 and I'm trying to view projects made with 1.4, because that's my best guess for an answer at the moment.

Yes. 1.4 includes special blocks even 1.3.1 doesn't have. But it's still pretty cool, I recommend you download it and play around with it.

Yes, it is because you have an old version.
BTW, why do you still have it anyway?

Because I'm too lazy to download the new one, and I'm worried it'll take up too much memory space, but I'll probably download it soon.

1.4 is just one kilobyte...

OK, one more question; how long does it take to download 1.4?

Depends on your connection speed.
