Could you give advice about this forum ad?
I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to be doing anything...

Wow, this is amazing! I will look at this often. I like how you mentioned ways to get known without using the forums, because most users don't use the forums. You are also right about how most Show & Tell advertisements don't get noticed, because every time I make one, asking for feedback, I don't get replies to the posts, or comments on the project. I do suppose though that I could use your tip on a proper ad if I ever make a new one. Thanks for the great tips!
Edit: Also, I do agree with the meaningful comments. I used to do them the wrong way, but now I will type a lot in a comment, because it does make for a better comment if you leave feedback.
Then people will help you!

It's a good advertisement - and an awesome project!!!

Thanks for writing this! Thanks also for adding other peoples' tips to the post so that I wouldn't have to look at all of the posts.
My tips:
1. Be a kind Scratcher and help others who need help. This can get people to start recognizing you for your good deeds.
2. Collaborate with other Scratchers. If you know Scratchers who you know well and you could truly call a friend, and you help make projects, people might see that you helped make a certain project and look at your projects.

Try asking for help in the All About Scratch forum - there are a lot of people that'll be able to help you.
...
Odd... did someone rename this topic? There was originally a note in the title that the topic contains more than just the Show and Tell forum... in the ITopic index it has the correct name though.

It's possible that the title got too long for the limit when the tag was added I'm not too sure...

Oh, I think that's it - the name was quite long... I hope people don't think that this only contains stuff in Show and Tell though.

This was very helpful! It was helpful because I learned about how to get noticed in the Scratch Community!
