I did just that, and I got a variable called <pop> . You can select the sound, and if you put a play sound <X> block, and X is the <pop> block, it actually WORKS!! It is neat. But everyone else is saying that it doesn't work in 1.4 :C

I collect Scratch IMAGE files so I can look at old versions of Scratch.
I have all the versions except 1.0 & 1.0.2!
You can download them here if you like: http://www2.legoless.com/assets/images/ … images.zip
(Dont worry, thats my site. It can be trusted.)
If you have any questions or have an IMAGE file youve made yourself (if you know smaltalk) or if you have 1.0.2 or 1.0 then just post!

Help appreciated.
If you download the IMAGE files from the link above, please please read the 'read me'.
Every time theres a new version of Scratch out, the link above will be updated.
I love collecting Scratch IMAGE files, & I hope others do too!![]()

Mick, it's a great idea to collect Scratch image files! Not only is this a good documentation of Scratch's genesis, but you can actually learn some things from these images, especially if you're into Smalltalk and fool around with their error-messages...
What I like is how 1.1 and previous export costumes to gif instead of BMP. I am thinking of adding a format selection menu to the exporter dialog of Streak. Expect it in 0.3. (0.2 is almost done; all major new features are just being 'cleaned up')

Cool! However, please, everyone, be advised that trying to experiment with old image versions of Scratch is not recommended for the average Scratch user. Try this only if you are an advanced user willing to experiment and run the risk of damaging some of your projects.
Hi, ScratchR, andresmh!, just to tell you that i got it from media fire not scratch website. Is it ok?

Drag the image file on to the scratch.exe that you should already have when you downloaded Scratch from this site.
I had fun, closing it with task manager

You are using IE, right?
This is because ie by default installs to a folder that is deleted at each reboot.
Simply click 'save,' not run, and save it somewhere you'll remember.

Very interesting! I have a whole collection of image files! Btw, I have a scratch 1.0 and 1.0.2 image file, but I don't know how to host them.

Use http://mediafire.com
free file server.
I've used it without hitch for the last two years.

really cool!
i'm just wondering,
is this collection only for Scratch images, or also other mods such as Panther, BYOB, or Bingo?
if so, you might want to add them to your collection

I hate media fire, it's so hard to actually download stuff, I have to go through tons of pop ups.
