Re: Let's get the "Disappearing Text" problem solved!

A new thing happened to me a few days ago. All the text and everything disappeared, except for a short section on one of my backgrounds. Only a few lines of text survived. Has this happened to anyone else?

Would you mind adding [ blocks ] tags at the beginning and end of the first post? That bold thing is annoying. Like this:

Code:

Actually, just delete the double-bracket thing in Domben's post.

It will after a while. It happens when you don't expect it. I encountered it 1 time  in 1.3.1.

I can't install 1.4 now!  yikes

Poor you. You toyed around too much.  tongue

From what I can see, it is universal. Did anyone encounter it in 1.2/1.2.1?

I encounted it in lower than 1.2!

It happened again! This time I had to restart my computer!

I had Windows XP, SP3 with build 5, with a Scratch 1.4 hack.

I think a word got removed by the filter... these forums use an asterisk as a replacement.

Re: Let's get the "Disappearing Text" problem solved!

Here's an interesting one, I don't know if anyone reported it yet, so apologies if someone has.

I've noticed that leaving the 'Project Notes' window open when minimizing Scratch (1.4) window will cause the text to disappear when Scratch is brought up again (this especially occurs with large walls of text).

Re: Let's get the "Disappearing Text" problem solved!

Hmmm...it seems to occur mostly when I'm working on my Rhapsody in Blue project. It doesn't have any text, but it does have a very large sound and quite a lot of animation.
