Hello everyone. I would like to run for moderator because I want to be able to help keep the peace in the community. Over the past 2 months or so, I've been building my reputation up as a good member of this community in the forums. I think its wrong to judge someone on the way they type.Many people complained about how poor my grammar is.The thing is I type really fast and alot of comments so I wanna reply to them all,but frequently I am judged by the way I spell and type.So should I start being more grammar-like instead of super fast words like "lol" or "u" if I wish to be a moderator?

I don't judge anyone by how they type. But some current mods do use "lol" at times. Usually mods don't use stuff like "u" though. If you want to be a better example for everyone, I'd recommend better grammar. smile

I don't think judging people by there grammar is that great hmm I tend to over-use smilies, but other than that, I use grammar a lot smile

I only really judge people on grammar when it comes out like this:
Leikz ca i do fings a iek howd i speakz i undeanmele languge
(You should get the idea smile )

Translation: Like, can I do things, and how do I speak in understandable language.

Why I'd like to be a mod?
Mostly because I liked this forum very much, and I know that when the game is good, people won't start a flame war (maybe except few persons, but I won't name any names at this point). I also want to do something for the role players, because I know what it's like - I was a game master in each and every RPG in my class in primary school. I know that a well-directed game can be really addicting. And of course, I'm one of those reasonable people who won't stick their own games. No. I'd like to create a Game of the Week spot, where community suggests their favourite games and we -- talking of Scratch Text-Based Games team -- choose the featured game for the week every Monday (voting would be on weekend).
