Okay. Also, remember one thing with Toxic Spikes: It does not affect Steel types and flying types, and Poison types will remove it from play.

I know that. I loved how my Cloyster only had 150 EVs in HP and it still survived two super-effective hits. It has some good defense.

I am also working on an Infernape, which will help with my overall strategy. tongue

You don't have any poison types, so I knew that They would be fine.

It has 200 speed EV's.

I hate that weavile. sad

It just outspeeds everything!! Its really annoying. Luckly, I got off a toxic spike beforehand, so it didn't sweep my entire team. If only I had left my cloyster in and then went to infernape, I would have killed it before It could do all of the damage it did.

Well, Weavile has one of the highest speed stats.

He's #12 on this list.

I came up with a better-balanced team. All of them are in UU or NU.

Froslass, Meganium, Magmortar, Politoed, Electrode, and Claydol.

Suggestions?

Well an Infernape with Earthquake, Flamethrower and Thunderpunch could sweep the entire team. But, that is not going to happen.

I suggest that you maximize on electrodes speed, and teach it explosion.
Give Claydol Stealth rock and put him first.
Teach either Megnanium or Magmortar Sunny Day and give them both Solar Beam.

Get rid of meganium, venusaur or torterra are better options. Claydol should be a special sweeper, with it's exclusive type matchups, it can wipe out most of a team.

@TheSaint: If you really want to scrw up his Weavile strategy, use a Choice Scarf Pokemon. If you use a Choice Scarf Jirachi with Trick, thats even better, because the additional speed doesnt really help Weavile outspeed anything, because it already does.
Alternatively, just use Max ATK and SPD EV'd Deoxys A with Fire Punch. Unless your opponent is Ninjask, Deoxys -S or has a Choice Scarf and good speed, it won't be outsped.
