It's always good to start with a defensive strategy, such as Vaporeon+Metagross behind Reflect and Light Screen.

Re: The Pokémon Center: Tournaments, Trades, and Battles

I generally prefer to do a mixedish strategy. Judging by Tyranitar's popularity, so do a lot of people.

I like stall teams. I think that a team with Just Arcanine, Skymoray and Stelix could win by setting up stealth rock and roaring away. Lol  tongue  That would be funny to see.

Re: The Pokémon Center: Tournaments, Trades, and Battles

I got a good team.

Jumpluff, Ampharos, Magmortar, (The sandstorm will now start) Tyranitar, Aggron, and Empoleon.

Although I'll need a Magmortar. Anybody care to trade their Magmar with Magmarizer for the same thing?

An Agility-Ice Punch-Earthquake-Life Orb Metagross (or anything with decent speed and power with a ground move and an ice move) could take out that that entire team.

5 of your guys are weak to ground, and EQ is a really common move, so you should probably fix that. You also have a bit of a weakness to fighting and water moves.

I suggest using this: http://pokemon.marriland.com/diamond_pearl/team_builder/

It's really helpful to make a balanced team with few weaknesses. I always used that.

No.
Roar has negative priority, so it always goes last regardless of speed stats.

However, They have such High defenses that with healing items, it would take a while to knck them out. I know its not perfect, I just listed three with roar. A team could be set up so that it would work. Especially if Toxic spikes were put in.

No. Defense and Special Defense are two different things, you just need to know which attacks to use. Also, there are pokemon immune to being roared out.

Like Ghosts and Pokemon with abilities that defend against it.

Also, does anyone want to do a favor for me? If so, reply saying so.

I honestly can't remember. I don't think I've ever even opened my trainer card section.
