it's nice to see some community-driven democratic process going on!

if you decide to make an election, I'd suggest you to check out http://selectricity.org, this is a website that a friend of mine here at MIT created to do online voting.

I don't think you need to register. You can just create a quickvote from the front page. I'd suggest playing with it a bit before sending the voting space. Also, you might want to have a deadline to pick candidates maybe?

Re: The Unofficial Moderator election

EDIT EDIT EDIT!!!!!!!

Okay, take me off the candidate list, I've decided that I don't want to be a mod for some site where people play games in a low-class forum. Plus, I don't have the time, I could be on Scratch doing better things like helping out other members.

You know, I think I'll follow floatingmagictree's example and I'd like to remove myself from the list, as well. The reasons he gave rather convinced me not to do this  smile

Re: The Unofficial Moderator election

1, 2, and 4 for sure...But 3 I haven't been on scratch too long but I think I'll be able to do it. No. 5 about bias. whenever I do that, I seem to be able to correct my mistakes and be forgiven for it. Whenever I do, I sooner or later feel bad about it on my own.
Extra points:
Though I may be young, I can go on scratch and probably moderate well. I go on scratch alot.

Re: The Unofficial Moderator election

Well, I've decided to make a separate election. A mini vote perhaps? to find out who are the official candidates.

Good work with making the poll. But they'll need us all, since all of us got atleast one vote!

thank you very much! i apreaciate that.

i think the only problem with the 'election' is that it is not an election. there is not gonna only be one who we must elect, there will be multiple who volenteer and have good reputations, are nice, go on scratch a lot, ect ect.
