The Scratch website is currently only hosted in English.
However, in the next few months we hope to add support to translate the Scratch website to more languages.
If you are interested in helping out with this translation in the future, please post to this forum thread.

Hi,
I want to help with translation of this site and/or another materials into russian.
Hi xryundel,
Thanks for the offer to help translate the site or other Scratch materials into Russian!
We already have a translation of the Scratch application and the Scratch website into Russian.
The Russian translation of the website is already live, you can see it by clicking on the 'Language' bar in the top right of scratch.mit.edu.
The Russian translation of the Scratch application is not yet completed tested, and will become available for download in the coming months.
Would you like to translate any of the other Scratch materials, like the Getting Started Guide or the Scratch Cards?
Some guides for translating those can be found here:
Translating Scratch Materials
If you complete any translations and would like to share them, please post a message here.
Thanks for your contributions!

Translations are best done into one's native language. It is much easier to read something in a second language and turn it into good writing in your own language than it is to write something in a second language. Some people learn more than one language well enough to be good writers in them, but not very many people are that adept.

I'm eager so see how the last translation I sent shows up in the site. Have the problems highglighted (strings showning up only in English, linked pages showing in English) been corrected?
Thanks for your help

Hi Stefano,
Sorry for my delayed reply.
I've sent you an email responding all of your questions.
Some of the problems have been fixed, and some have not.
I've also put your latest translation on the test website.
Please send me your feedback whenever you are ready.
Thank you very much!

Have you got a Spanish tranlator/translation already?
If not, I would love to collaborate in the project, hope you do not mind the slow response time, as I would be workin on it on my spare time, but I would be honnored!

Hello Qualanqui,
Thank you for your offer to help translate Scratch to Spanish.
Scratch 1.2.1 already comes with the interface translated to Spanish (via the 'Languages' button).
Also, the Scratch website is translated to Spanish (click on 'Languages' menu on the top right of the home page).
Various Scratch resource materials have also been translated:

If you would like to help translating other Scratch resource materials, you can find the instructions here:

Thanks again for your offer!
Sincerely,
Evelyn

Hi Scratch Team,
Do you have people who are (currently) translating the web-site in Dutch?
Whether the answer is yes or no, does not really matter I suppose... either way, I would like to volunteer to help out.
Let me know how I could be of assistance.
Cheers,
Gijsbert
