I was searching around one day on a laptop when I was going to move, I searched "make your own level!" Then i saw one of Archmage's projects, it was awesome!! then I sighned up and made the most noobiest project to man! Whats your story?

Summer Class about how to make games. I learned from my teacher Mr. Forshaw (lforshaw) and now am better than him. Pretty much it. You've been scratching almost as long as I have! Wow, it was only a week after.

My mom told me about this programming class at the library. I wanted to take the class because I had never programmed before in my life. We learned Scratch, and after I took it, I fell in love with programming. Me and all the friends I made there surpassed the teachers. *sigh* good times... we rickrolled the entire class without getting in trouble...

I hope mt computer class did that, but since i live in mississippi, its has the worst education system, plus i have to do this cartoonish * thing called " FastForWord"

What's FastForWord?

Its a computer program made for kids to learn somehow. trust me, everybody in elmentary and middle has to do it in the southern part of the United States.

It was in december 2007, it was a cold and peaceful night.. lol.
I was programming in BASIC and I tried to make games but they wasn't very good so I googled something about programming and games and I found scratch I downloaded it looked at the sample projects, just to see what things you were able to make, then I tried to make some simple things just to get familiar with the interface then I started to make some games and so, but until january 2008 I didn't know that you could publish your games online, so I made a game, uploaded it and then I looked at some other projects.
I used Scratch for a couple of months and then I started to program in python instead.
six months later I logged onto Scratch again and I downloaded the latest version and I was back on the road.

Anyway, I was at this party-type place, and I met a really annoying kid. Back then I was only programming in BASIC, and somehow we got into a discussion about who could program better. He said he had a program that he could make puzzle, action, etc. games with. I asked him for the URL, he told me, and the rest is history. tongue

It was in the "Popular Science" Magazine that I get monthly, that is how I found out about Scratch smile
