Sometimes another Scratcher contacts me to make a general suggestion about projects or to ask whether I'd like to collaborate on a project. The only way to do it is to leave a comment on one of my (older?) projects that's less active, where they feel their message won't be out of place. I just created a project called "Leave a Note" http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Larry828/697462 where people can leave the kind of messages I've been describing. _____ Of course, that project will recede farther and farther into my project pages at "My Stuff" as I create new projects, so it will be less available. I could "remix" it periodically (version 2,391) but that seems tedious. Is there any way a project like that could be placed permanently on my first page? It would be *public* like any other project and subject to the same standards that apply to all Scratch projects. It would just be easily available all the time, and meant for general purposes.

I remember seeing something like this; I think the Scratch Team denied it because if there was Private Messaging, there would be a greater chance for other users to send mean or hateful (Or even innapropriate) messages to others.
You can still do this on Projects, but others can see the comment and flag it to alert the Scratch Team.

When you became a moderator did the Scratch team tell you everything about Scratch's past / present / future? Sorry to be nosy, I was just curious...

I think he doesn't mean PMing, but a comment box in the "My Stuff" page. Like a Guestbook.

Why don't you ask me? I can see the future.

Hmm, I'm not really sure about the PMing...
On a further note though, maybe we could make a "personal" featured project list. You pick your best projects and they come up in a seperate section. I know it sound a lot like DeviantArt, but maybe we could take it further.

He doesn't mean PMing, he means public comments on another user's Stuff Page, where everyone can see it. It would be useful for reducing the need to spam games.
