The 'when I receive' button

When I name the thing I want to happen, e.g. chaos hit, how do you receive it? Please can someone help me?

Re: The 'when I receive' button

Put the "When I recieve" in some other sprite (or in some cases, the same sprite) and put what you want to happen in the following blocks. On the sprite you want to broadcast the message, put "Broadcast." Make sure the two broadcasts have the same name.

Re: The 'when I receive' button

Do this:

[blocks]<broadcast[ chaos hit[/blocks]

Then put this on the sprite you want to receive it:

[blocks]<when I receive[ chaos hit[/blocks]

Then say what you want to happen.

Please don't necropost.

I'm taking a break from Scratch until 2.0 comes out. Any messages sent between then and now probably won't be read - sorry.

Hi TheGameMaster1231 - thanks for trying to help out  smile

But please check the date of the last post on a topic before you post...if it's really old (like this one was) the problem has probably already been solved and posting on the topic just wakes up a "dead" topic.  Thanks  smile
