Strange Bug!!!
I'm on a Mac, and I have the latest version of software. I'm running Safari. Here's the project with the error stuff and all that.... http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/hamsandwitch678test/691005

Very nice report! It looks like anytime the name is shortened to fit in the field (ends in three periods), the link tries to go to the name with the periods - which, of course, doesn't work.

The Internet ALWAYS thinks that the link is what they're supposed to write. So, THAT'S ALWAYS WHAT THEY WRITE!!!!!!!!!
