Also to answer this. The title "rare" already should imply this but they are rare eggs that sometimes appear in the cave but get snapped away very fast. The other way to get rare eggs is to be lucky when breeding but it's still rare to get a rare dragon  smile

Rarest dragon so far I think is the golden dragon  smile

Edit: I never to the word rare could be used so much  smile

is it normal for a hatchling to have 2127 views and still no gender? i'm getting worried!
its the green one in my sig with the vines around it (the second one)Help!

Yes, your hatchling hasn't lived long enough to get wings at that amount of views yet. Wait for a day or two. ^^

actually the rarest is the neglected dragon, whitch is obtainable, but nobody knows how to get it... > smile

I know how... The #1 way to get rare eggs is when cave blocking occurs... You can get a lot of rare eggs that people don't even abandon from there. They just... Appear.

I think it's when you get a certain amount of eggs or hatchlings and you can't pick any more of them up.
