Yes, but if the chicken came first, then how did it get born. Stop worrying about it, it's a paradox. If the egg came first then how could anything have laid it (baring in mind, that while the question does not actually say 'chicken' egg, it is still referring to one), and if the chicken came first, then surely it must have come from an egg?
FYI: Chickens have a relation to the t-rex, so really the question is:
Which came first, the Dino or the egg?

Well, dinosaurs evolved from other creatures, and they evolved from other creatures and so on. So really the question is 'How did living creatures start to exist?', which is basically asking 'How was the big bang created?' if you take it back a few layers.

ORLY?
I did not know that
Im a science freak, and that kind (Phone rings, bill collector) of stuff is very interesting.

How about this!
"which came first, the chicken or the egg?"I think it was the egg, because the question doesn't say that the egg is a chicken egg, and therefore a dinosaur could have laid one, thus making the egg come first.
Of course the chicken came first! If the egg came first then who will take care of it? Not the dinasuars! Wow im using facts.
its the egg because (scientific facts about evolution coming up) a bird layed an egg. the bird almost was a chicken and children are always a bit different and the egg turned into a chicken. the chicken wasnt an official chicken yet.

Yes, but everything evolved from bacteria, so really we shouldn't be worrying about chickens, we should be wondering how on earth the bacteria got here in the first place.

Too many paradoxes involving time! Here's one:
Are there more even numbers than odd numbers? (see below for solution)
Actually there isn't a solution. How can we know if there are more even numbers than odd numbers when there are infinite numbers:
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000
10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001
-10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000026
-11286376486964936837657365634980249274835696588927468683658659692874123865962347
...
and so on and so on.
So tell me: are there more even numbers than odd numbers?

BTW the Big Bang most likely created the egg first. Case solved!!
