Some questions...

When adding a sprite how do you make the solid color transparent?

Re: Some questions...

You cannot make a sprite transparent. You can however make it a single pixel (which will make it look almost invisible) or you can hide it (using the hide block) for the entire project.

Re: Some questions...

Ok i get what your saying and i noticed that my question was worded wrong, i dont mean an invisible sprite, what i mean is the background of the sprite.
when i add a an image such as a GIF or a PNG the background solid color isnt always transparent.
here is an image in case you dont understand.

Re: Some questions...

Click on the Edit button that is underneath the costume. This will bring up the paint editor. Click the bucket (so that you can fill the background) then click on the checkerboard pattern that is in the color palette and to the right of the white paint. Finally click on the color that you want to make transparent.

Re: Some questions...

I realize that this is not the original question, but you *can* make a sprite transparent---that is what the ghost effect is for!
