I would make a spare account if you want to upload tests to it so that it doesn't make your main account messy. Also, if you want to test a new game your working on but don't want to tell anyone about the game, it can be a good idea.

I actually made this account for the purpose of getting better known. I had some bad projects on my other one, so I started new, with great ones from the start. Worked so far.

Yes, but only if you are a known-enough Scratch member and you have enough friends and you make decent-enough projects. For instance Paddle2See made Paddle2SeeFixit and Ihaveamac made Ihaveatest. Simple. I don't have a test account, but I would have if at least 3 or 4 of my projects got more than 200 views and 10 love-its.
