Good programmer with some part of a project manager in himself has to think not only of code, but of flowcharts, end-user, basically - the whole, and also names. Names are very important. Do you think MS Word would be selling as good as now if it was named "Microsoft's Office-Standards-Compliant Word Processor and Web Editor"? Or Visual Studio as "Microsoft's IDE with elements of visual programming"? Or even Scratch - "Early Programming done with Blocks from MIT Media Lab"? So names are important. And you'll need to come up with a cool name, otherwise you fail.

no, I used panned as a part of my large metaphor.

But yes, it is a good thing to have a program all planned out before hand.
That's why we have whiteboards(should have whiteboards). TO PLAN OUT M30W and NUKE IT.(a microwave cooking/programming M30W reference fyi)
ergo, we write down what we're going to do and do it.
Technically, we're not even out of alpha yet, because we don't have all the features that we said we wanted there yet.

If anyone wanted to know, I'm learning python.

That's why I made these diagrams. If you just follow the lines, it's easy - you're like the program. Not good. If you're trying to think about the whole, it's harder, but if you practice, you'll find it easy to put these bits together. If you're thinking about the whole whole, then you're me. If you're thinking about the whole whole with details, you're Bill Gates. Those people can think in italics. They should be observed. Preferably from a distance(1).

Thing is, you should first run your ideas past the rest of the team (If you are in a team.) before you spring your ideas into the mixing pot (For cds56)

true, there is a difference.

Google wave is strange. like a combo of IM and email in one strange online app thingy.

I haven't quite figured it out yet but it appears you can do quite a bit of customizing in the 'waves'

Wave is beter than forum, it's not actually an IM, certainly not e-mail. It's a tool to collaborate and share. You can change your username, avatar and status in the profile wave. I added you to recent Scratch TCG wave - it's a big collab.

Funny thing is, I requested wave sandbox. Maybe I'll try to mess about it to make comment system for our actual M3OW.Online site. Each project would have a wave for comments. Of course with editing disabled. I think we should also consider using Wave for other stuff on M3OW.Online...
