Re: Emerald

PyGame is just like Python, or it's really an extension.

Idea:

Make it so when you program, it's programmed in the console but when you run the program, it's ran in the GUI Window.

Re: Emerald

I guess you can keep it, and replace it with the programming commands.

GUI Window: No it will be just like a normal window, but I could make it around full screen.

Programming mode will be harder to do, how about we go with basics.  smile  Once I get better at Python then sure.  smile

Re: Emerald

I think we could either copy Scratch interface and layout of any IDE. Also, embedding DirectX "canvas" directly into Python won't be a) easy and b) good idea because it means it will need more memory to handle it. PyGames... Good, good... One library less to write, but if it comes to project file protocols, leave it to me when you'll need it.

Re: Emerald

Marky: Sweet!
Filo: Why not just learn Python? Besides, I can make it so Python can import saved games, I could make a button for that, who needs an extension anyways?

Re: Emerald

xD Go download Squeak and then you can open the image files. But yes you're making the sample sprites, and backgrounds. Once I get those I could do WAY MORE than just printing. It's gona be hard to do all the "Forevers" and "Ifs"  hmm

Marky: I know better way to look for Scratch interface: [url=http://download.scratch.mit.edu/source-code/ScratchSkin1.3.1.zipScratchSkin[/url](from version 1.3, soon will be updated to 1.4).

Magine: I just can't understand Python, I'm good in C# and I want to help.

Re: Emerald

Yes, I agree with Filo.

Marky: If you actually made them in Scratch just save the costumes 1 by 1, then upload those to imageshack or some other image hosting site.

Filo: I found a programming language called Cython, and I believe you can program in C then it will convert to Python, allowing us to work together with 2 different items or of some other sorts. Link: http://cython.org/

All: Sorry for late post, I'm never on Sunday, so just keep working till I'm back.  smile

Re: Emerald

Erm... Cython doesn't support dot net C#, does it? I'm not into not-dot-net C++... Let's just stay with importing .NET DLLs.

Re: Emerald

i could put them all into a gif, then upload it, it would still take a while though. I do have a program for doing it. Just sometimes converting it back is hard. But why do we even need my sprites, dont you have your own?
