Scratch

I've noticed lately that on my biggest project, Shade RPG, that while I'm working on it, all the text goes away! Not just the text in the costumes, but the words save, load and so on. When I try to interact with this "Invisible Text" I can, but it makes it difficult to type.
   I've found the only way to fix it is to click the save icon, close scratch, open a new scratch, and open the file. After that the text in the sprites is still gone, but not the text saying save and load. So then I hit save and everything goes back to normal.
   I've yet to get a picture of this, but I will the next time it happens.
   Has this happened to you?
   If yes do you know a better solution, or a reason as to why this is happening? Thanks.
