Converting Sprites to backgrounds
Is it possible? If so, how would I do so?

if the sprite was from a file, you could import the same picture from the same file as a background.
if the sprite was one you drew, and decided to make it as a background, you could probably export it to a file, and follow the same procedure as the first way. import the same file as a background.
