Could I do comics for the newspaper? I've been a Scratcher for about 9 months, love to draw, am an active user. I have Photoshop and now I made a Deviantart account so I can share my drawings on the forums. 
A know there's a lot of cartoonists but variety never hurt.

thanks! scratcher newspaper was a great idea. my ideas for it:
-game interview section
-a section where it says what other people have said, EG:
a very great idea... ive read every issue! -wiimaster
-a featured section: something that shows the 3 newest featured projects
-a poll section, with quizzes that the results are posted next issue
-a game section: people can make word puzzles and then we post them in the newspaper, the awnsers to it are posted next issue. EG crossword puzzle

That sounds like a very 'gret' idea. Also how about a 'Guess who anonymous* is' section because that seems more fun than asking Anonymous.
*Yes I didn't spell the name wrong because it'd look like I made the typo. It's actually supposed to be anonomous.

Deserted: A New Kind of Game

This project is great because it's so unique. Instead of walking around like a scroller, you controll the character's mind. You tell the character what to do! Also, the game is completely text based, the scenery is described all by a list. It's also random. The probability of say, catching a fish, is determined b a random number generator, so each game is a little different.
Even though it's a simple project, Deserted may be paving the way for a new kind of scrratch project, text adventures. Keep watch, and have fun playing deserted!
