I made a thread like this before and i would like to bring it up again. Ok heres my idea, what if you love all of a certain scratcher animation and you want to know when he makes a new now you can have the option to subscribe to him. There will be an alert or something like that that will tell if the person you subscribed to made new animation

That is a good idea, and it is what I would like the "friends" list to mean, instead of the rather lame use it has now (a set of bookmarks to"my stuff" pages and who has permission to post in galleries that you set to be friends-only, two rather incompatible meanings).
