Script sizes too large?

So, I'm making a true text based game (no pictures, everything is told to you and you respond to make actions) and I've heard before that if a script is too large, it will not work on the scratch website. Is this true? I need to know, because the easiest way to make the game involves two VERY large scripts. Also, I'm using ask and list for this, if that is of any worry.

Re: Script sizes too large?

yes it is true, if you use many scripts i recommend no music. but if you combine the script into one or two things it will also work better. scratch cannot hold a certain number of MB's

Soooo, it's like Zork? (old text bsased game where your scene is described to you, along with all the items you have and such?

I made one of those in BlitzBasic! They're really fun and easy!

yes, it is possible. but it is also possible that you don't have enough memory allotted to java to run it.
