Paper mario & the thousand year door...

That's one of my favourite games of all time. I LOOOOVE the storyline, and battling against the shadow queen (which took me about 30 tries! XD). I also love going down the pit of 100 trials, or at least that's what I think it's called. It was such an adventure, and when I got to bonetail, I was so pumped. I even managed to beat him on my first try! Man I love that game, it's so much fun.  big_smile

The furthest I ever got in the pit of 100 trials was around 50. I died then  sad

But anyways, it took me so many tries to beat the shadow queen, I started a whole new file!

Hey, does anyone know how to get that one badge in hooktail's castle? I read in the cheat codes, that if you get that one girl mouse's trouble, and you find the badge, she'll join your team! I saw the badge before, it's on top of this staircase with some missing stairs. I tried all of my party members (I think) but I can't get it.

No, that's a different badge. The badge you want is in the room where you fought Hooktail, and you have to use Flurrie.

Re: Talk About "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door"

Strategy for the Pit of 100 Trials:
1. Fight your way down, get the Strange Sack and then leave. DO NOT BE TEMPTED TO KEEP GOING.
2. Make a lot of Zess Deluxe, or Jelly Ultra.
3. Go down (again)!! Leave one or two empty spaces in your inventory.
4. If you get a Dried Shroom, KEEP IT. I'll explain why later.
5. When your partner is KO'd, equip the Mega Rush P badge on them after the battle.
6. Use the Dried Shroom. Because you aren't in a battle, your partner will be revived with 1 HP.
7. In the next battle, your partner will have +5 attack from the beginning!! If you're good at Superguarding or just lucky enough so that your partner doesn't get attacked, it will be a CAKE WALK.
8. Don't be afraid to use your items. Every time I die in the Pit, it's because I didn't want to waste my items.
9. Don't forget to Tattle on every new type of enemy, or you'll have to go through the whole Pit AGAIN to finish your journal!

Thanks! I never had the patience to go past the 25th floor in the pit though.
