Re: The Best Scratchers

I've seen a lot of these "Best Scratcher" threads show up on the Forums...and they always result in hurt feelings.  Maybe a kinder approach would be to pick one Scratcher that you think is underappreciated and explain why you think people should look at their work  smile

By the way, I can't leave this in Show and Tell unless it is advertising a project or a gallery.  So I'm moving it to All About Scratch.

Indeed you are. Your projects like "Hunt the Wumpus" and "Hangman" just absolutely amaze me.  smile

Ah, I'm not that good. At least, comparing my projects to some others I don't think so ^^;

Well, building on Paddle2See's advice, I'm going suggest goch. I think goch has some of the most wonderful and unique projects I've seen here on Scratch, ranging from educational projects such as "Mariazell" to fun projects such as "AtlanticOcean"; I think his/her projects could use some more love from the Scratch community. :3

Colkadome. He's very skilled at making good games, and his graphics are also wonderful.

Wait a minute... shouldn't this be moved to Inspiration and More?

http://i52.tinypic.com/5es7t0.png I know what you're thinking! "Neptune! Get rid of those filthy advertisements and give us back the Zarathustra siggy, you horrible person!" Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>

Type technoguyx and ALL pages were made by me or mentioned me.  big_smile

Anyway let's not get off the topic. Following Paddle2See's advice of considering unpopular yet good users as well, browsing my favorites I've found edmonb61 (now unactive, and he has really few, yet good projects), matfin (same) and Bisonic (same lol).

I always thought that you were one of the best scratchers.  yikes

Anyways, going with what Paddle2See said, I would have to say (even though they're my in real life friends, lol) Mindstorms244 and SapientSnail. Both have quite a few games that show artistic ability, knowledge, and good programing. SapientSnail even has a game with over 2400 scripts! They're both great friends, and awesome scratchers, so I think they deserve a little more attention. :]
