music downloads

many games have copyrighted music in them. is that illegal? people could just get music for free instead of buying it off itunes. if someone finds a project that has copyrighted music, should they flag it?

Re: music downloads

Well its legal to burn CDs off of songs you buy on itunes, and when you buy stuff off of itunes,it comes in the MPG4 format, which scratch does not support, so you can only have songs in the MP3 or wma format, in which both are generally perfectly legal. When you flag somthing, you're flaging it as Innapropriate unless the song is just swearing or somthing, its no innapropriate. Hope that helps!
