your welcome. i finally found my notebook it is in my posession and i am now going to count how many pokemon i have.
Awesome! I can't wait to see what you've made!
Me and my friend have pretty much failed at this so we'll start again next week, moves and abilities. Neither of us can draw so we can't make new pokemon, we can do the art fusing things with other pokemon though.

No offense, but your Hot Milk move is almost exactly the same as Milk Drink (See Miltank).
I think the next game should really focus on expanding the games Wi-Fi and multiplayer capabilities. Picture this:
Online WiFi plaza. Players can create their own area, personalise it (And with far more options than secret bases etc.) When online, players can enter other players areas, give challenges, accept them, and wager items etc. on the results. Also, being able to create a CPU version of yourself to fight if you aren't online (Without wagers, of course). There could be a menu where you choose the way the CPU reacts to everything, strategies etc. Or adaptive learning so it learns your playstyle by storing data about the way you battle. Proper Leaderboards and clans would be fun, and possibly a new team mode where 8 pokemon (2 for each person) face off in two teams. 4 v 4's would add a huge load of depth and strategies. Regular online competitions and things to give the game more replayability. Also, some pokemon types and moves need to be altered slightly to balance things more.
e.g. Give steel slightly fewer resistances, as it is a hugely overused type in the current metagame. Dragon could also have another weakness, as I believe dragon is also an overused type. We could use some different typed pokemon being powerful (e.g. Bug Type with similar stats to Salamence or Tyranitar) to promote more different typings and strategies, and expand the metagame.
I don't think more types are needed at the moment.
Perhaps a few new cross-egg group pokemon to make egg breeding more complicated would be useful.

I totally agree with lowering Steel and Dragons, having strong Bug-types, and the egg cross breeding.

Here's a post to fully explain why Steel and Dragon Types should be nerfed to allow a more diverse metagame:
Steel Types
Steel Types are weak only to Ground, Fire and Fighting. They are resistant to nearly every other type.
Steel Types in general have high stats. You never see the equivalent of a Pachirisu, or any other weak pokemon, in the steel type.
Steel Types are immune to sandstorms, Toxic Spikes and resistant to Stealth Rock. These combined attributes make them hugely overused in general play.
They generally have good movepools. Steel types learn many different moves which help them cover their weaknesses. These varied moves make them even better for competitive play.
Only type resistant to Dragon.
Dragon Types
Dragon Types are only weak to Ice and Dragon. They are resistant to a lot of things. Dragon Type moves also hit EVERYTHING except Steel Type for at least neutral damage.
Dragon Types in general have largely superior stats. There isn't a Dragon type with abysmal stats, but most Dragon Type pokemon are overpowered. Dragon is also one of the two types predominant in the legendary metagame, along with Psychic.
Dragon Types have hugely varied movepools in general as well, which they don't even need. A combination of Dragon, Ground and Fire type moves (Which practically every Dragon Type has access to) will hit ANY pokemon for at least neutral damage.
Every type has it's pro's and con's, but due to the evolution of the D/P/Pt metagame these cons don't even matter much anymore.
Steel types don't have to worry much about fire, because Stealth Rock has rendered fire type usage in the metagame practically non-existent.
Dragon Types don't have to hardly worry about Ice. Ice type pokemon are extremely underused because their only resistance is other Ice Types, while being weak to Fire, Fighting, Rock and Steel type moves.
I don't think that a definite nerf to those two types is necessary, but I feel that small changes need to be done so that other types are even useful in the metagame. Nowadays, you can get far in competitive pokemon using a team made completely of Steel and Dragon types.

Looks like you have a lot of Ideas.

I think there should be MUCH more fire types to find in the wild in D/P/Pl seriously, The only ones you can mainly find are Ponyta and Houndour.

i agree with alot of the stuff here except the cpu player in your place online even with strategies. here is why, it isn't you so you'll lose more often, recieve a lower ranking, and a bad rep. but more importantly if someone wants to battle you and you have a cpu fight them then it will alert them to your strategy and make them verry good against you. i hope to place my list of pokemon up by today. i agree with the addition of more fire types in the game. (now counting) i have made 20 fire pokemon including evolution chains out of my list of 129 pokemon. i am definitely having 5 more rare fire types and 3 legendaries for a total of 28 fire types which is at least 5 times the amount in platinum. really good ideas keep them comin. i wish to see a pvp pokemon for ds as i stated in a previous posts but i hadn't thought about the secret bases so thanks for reminding me djm111.

ok i got stuck on the legendaries but ive added some more fire types and some type combinations too. i actually have a ghost-fighting pokemon called samuraid. he's a samurai with a skeletal body and two bone swords. an example of a wierd type combo is my fireeze which is ofcourse ice-fire type. it has the ability freezerburn- enables a simultaneous burn and freeze condition while being oblivious to both. also my leafire- grass-fire who evolves into sroot(soot-root) with the ability deep rooted- prevents shifting and restores health. its kinda like a natural ingrain. a possible combo is to use deep rooted ability with sunny day and ingrain for max hp regain. also there is waspick who is the bug-ice type with the snow cloak ability. just picture a large ligt blue and snow colored wasp with a pickaxe as a stinger. it gaters on the sides of frozen canyons durin blizzards. more will be tomorrow and in written order.

I think a ghost steel with levitate would be pretty cool.
Nice ideas though, I never thought of some of your combinations like the bug ice. I cant wait for the notebook!

ok i have my notebook and it will be partially up today but i actually did make a steel-ghost pokemon. it is my legendary for pokemon glow version that i made yesterday. it is also the last pokemon in my pokedex and its name is glowghoul, it has the appearence of a dragon with a tainted luminescent metal body and evil eyes with a shady-ghostly aura. how ironic that i just checked the site again today and there was my final dex pokemons type. oh and thanks Imic(sorry for incorrect spelling i tried to figure out what letter it was when writing it but i did not think to capitalize the i). a key will be provided along with the pokedex as it is in my notebook as well.
