compatibility with pivot?

For some strange reason, in 1.2.1 you could import pivot animations saved as a .gif, but in 1.3 + you cant, is there a reason? because yes... it is possible to do it frame by frame, but it takes a long time... is there a way to fix it? or maybe add it in the nex version of scratch?

Same with Stykz, it doesn't work either.

And I have a 900-frame animation with it!  yikes

Re: compatibility with pivot?

It works for me with pivot like this:
you import the animation into a SPRITE and delete the non animation frames.
Then fill the background black.
And do the rest normally.

Look at this project that I made:
http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/juststickman/550461
The background is filled with black and the sprite is a white thing with transparent areas.
