You must be using the beta of Windows 7 free for download, cause it isn't even legally out yet except for a free RC download.I use Windows Vista, a lot of people say Vista has problems heres why probably :
1 : Not certified for Vista
2 : Probably do not defragment their PC
3 : Not using properly
4 : Incorrect shutdown of PC
5 : Probably not a HP with a AMD Athlon Dual Core Processor 5000B
I had XP on this HP before I put Vista on, man did XP ever screw up, never not have the program you'r PC is certified for, trust me, it is not good news, my HP was certified for Vista and had XP running at first until I got fed up with it and had it switched to VIsta, now with Vista everything is perfect for my PC.

@1: Meaning???
@2: Meaning???
@3: Thats awfully general...
@4: How do you turn it off wrong?
@5: That has nothing to do with Vista, that's the computer itself.
XP is much stabler for business purposes. In fact, most companies downgraded to xp when they found out what a pain vista is. Meanwhile, Mac rules.

1: I don't know what he means. Maybe that people just don't know how to use it?
2: As you create, modify, and delete files, they get scattered about your hard drive. Defragmenting puts them all in one place again, so that the drive reader doesn't have to skip around. Speeds up the system.
3: This is rather general.
4: Just pulling the plug, or using certain switches and parameters on the command line.
5: All Operating systems need a certain quality and amount of hard drive and processing power. If this is sub par, even the best OS's will lag.
