Scratch

I'm trying to use Scratch create an interactive game that will teach kids geography. Sort of like a "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego" type of game. Kids would have to find certain places on a map. There would be a digital map and a set of trivia like questions. For example, "What state is the farthest west in the United States?" They would have to guess the answer, and then click on the state with their mouse. If they get it right, the screen would then zoom in on that state, and they would be shown the major cities. The game would then give an interesting fact about, say, Maui (http://www.paradisemaui.com/island_info/index.html), and they would then be asked to find Maui on the map and click on it. The screen would then zoom in on Maui, and it would give some additional interesting triva about Maui. For example, Maui wedding ceremonies, fun activities in Maui, etc.
