Importing different file types of images into scratch

I currently just finished a logo I made in GIMP and now want to import it into scratch. So my question is what different kinds of image types does scratch permit into the 1.4? Because I saved the logo as different types like gif, png, and more but none of them worked so I was wondering how to import them into scratch. Thanks.

Re: Importing different file types of images into scratch

Jpg works best for me, and .gif as a background.
