While I was working on a scratch project all the text that I had written vanished. It is still there, yet invisible, and therefore unreadable. This project had a lot of text and I only started the project an hour ago, but that's an hour of work down the drain, so I want to know if anyone else has experienced this, or a similar problem. At first I thought this was a computer problem, but his happened to me a few months ago too so now I'm seriously annoyed, and really want to see if I can prevent this from happening to me again.

I've had this happen to me once. But there is another topic about this. Have you updated Scratch to 1.4 (not 1.4 RC even though I'm still using the RC cause I'm to lazy to update Scratch. lol ) I believe it's happened on the 1.3 and 1.3.1.

That's the Disappearing Text bug. Sometimes you can save your project, quit from Scratch, restart your project and everything is happy. You do have to make some guesses as to where the buttons are because everything is invisible.
Unfortunately, the development team has not been able to fix this bug, which has been around since at least version 1.3. It has proven very difficult to reproduce. It seems to be related to large amounts of text...either in the project notes or in other places in the project.

Yeah. Even if the only text is lots of space bar presses, its still annoying. I'm just suprised its difficult to reproduce O.o
