The Russian translation of this website is so bad it doesn't make sense. Was it translated with an online translator?
I offer to correct the translation.
How can I do that?
Scratch on!

Why would you need a Russian translator if you speak English perfectly?

Hi MRN!
Yeah, we'd love the help! I'm pretty sure the translation was done by humans. I don't know why it looks weird... hmmmm..
So - to translate the website, you can create an account on our pootle server. There are instructions here:
http://info.scratch.mit.edu/Translation/Translating_scratch.mit.edu
If you have any questions, email me (help@scratch.mit.edu).

Doesn't load.
Is it a translator? I don't need one, I can translate everything myself. The problem is, there's just too much to translate. xP

No I mean if it's going to be too hard, try using Babelfish, and then edit it, or check it thouroughly and touch anything else up.

Yeah same with the dutch translation, I once spent hours fixing it up on that translation site and nothing is changed - it was months ago
Hi JSO - Hmmm.... I'll see what we can do. You need to be a language admin to commit the changes (or use the contact us link).

I did some translating yesterday - how can I get it to be applied? Do I need to contact a language admin? If so, how do I do that? ^^"

Ummm.. let me see - I'm still learning about the pootle server. I'm pretty sure we can just make you an admin for Russian, then you can commit changes anytime you like. I'll check it out and get back to you soon!
