Why is Scratch color reproduction so bad?

I need this logo for a project I'm making, but that little shadow around it looks terrible in the Scratch editor. Why is the overall color reproduction on Scratch equal to that of Kid Pix on an old Compaq with Win16?

i dont know exactyly, mabye the backround in the original makes it seem like the shadow looks like that but atcually it doesnt, or it is just scratch quality, which i dont think ylou could do anything about allthough you could set a ghost effect n the shadow which woould make it look better, but that is all I can recommend

Scratch does not support half-transparent colors yet. If you try to import an image with half-transparent colors, it will set their Alpha to 100%, which means they will become just normal solid colors.

Well, don't worry about it, the Zara siggy will be back soon, new and improved! ^^ Meanwhile, just do what the sig tells you to. >.>
