I thought you left? You just wrote this today, so if you really quit you wouldn't come back.

Hi guys.
I just want you to know that I'm leaving Scratch. Scratch wasn't a big thing for me, I've been using other languages (text-based, no not lua. lua [removed].) for years, and Scratch was kinda like a boredom thing. I'm moving on to Objective C, so that I'll be able to code applications for the iPhone platform. I may or may not comr on every now and then, and please don't say this is a publicity stunt. It really isn't. Don't expect me to reply to any of your posts.
I may make a game or two every two months or so, but yeah, goodbye ScratchR's.
Thank you Scratch Team, for creating this awesome program which I hope continues for a long time. The Scractch community is one of the best I've ever seen. I hope that it continues to grow and many new people join.
Ok, I promise this is the end of the post. Goodbye ScratchR's! Thanks!![]()
What I would recommend is making your own version, like Streak!
That is what kept me interested!
Also: I see your problem, and that is one that also plagues me.
So, I am creating a streak-side scripting language, that will increase its functionality by, well, a lot.
It won't be out for a while, but when it does, I hope you give it a try.
You may not know, but scratch was actually influenced by C.
Okay, well, C ya!
(get it?)

Game maker isn't really a real program. Flash, Visual Basic, and Java are pretty real. Game maker I find is too basic, but more advanced then scratch.
i can do flash to, but im not to good
Hm... I don't know much VB. Wait, I don't know ANY VB, lol. I know regular BASIC, though. I am also learning java.
Bye fruit!

I'm saving up for flash, I'm decent with it, but I've only used it in the trials

If you have a Mac/apple computer then go to developer.apple.com. Sign up as a free developer until you know how to work the applications and know objective-c. Once you have figured out how to do that much then sign up as a developer by paying $99 and then submit your app to the app store. Oh and once you sign up as a free developer, download the iPhone SDK package. For the programming of the application you use Xcode, for the interface Interface Builder, for the testing of the application: iPhone Simulator, for the checking of other stuff you use Instruments. There are many more applications to use but those are the main ones. Books to get to learn objective-c: Programming in Objective-C by Stephen G. Kochan: Get it on amazon.com. Another book for the iPhone SDK part: Beginning iPhone Development, Exploring the iPhone SDK. It is an Apress book with two authors. I hope this helps. If you have any more questions just ask.
