Need Help Importing Picture Into New Version Of Scratch

I can't get it to work—I go into the Paint-Editor, Click-on "Import", and either double-click on a picture or press "OK."

Am I doing anything wrong?

I dont believe you are. double clicking should work, unless the file is WAY to big, hm reboot scratch and see what happens if not ill try to help you smore

Oh, I think I know what the problem is: I think it may just be with the picture.
I think I may have not have saved it as a .jpeg file and kept it as a .tiff file.
