Oo! I just got an idea!
Okay, for one, I will be giving all of the candidates tips if they need them—I'm kinda a Campaign Advisor for everyone, but not quite. smile
Anyways, I was thinking that people could make Scratch Projects saying things like, "(User) for Scratch President" or something like that—kinda like those campaign signs they have.
Of course, you wouldn't HAVE to do so, I am just giving you a tip. wink

Well, I think you should vote for me because I would be the best leader. I may be headstrong sometimes, but I mean well, and I would also help fight against things that people do not want in Scratch. If I am elected President, I will insure that all spammers are dealt with, and I will begin a campaign to lower the 60 second rule!
Here are some more things I will do for you scratchers. I will hold many rallies concerning the current cat invasion of the Scratch Home Page. If you vote for me as president, I will give Love-Its to every person's projects who have voted for me. I will also try to make Scratch a better place for newer members. Together, we can satisfy your need for Blade-Edge to become president of scratch. So vote Blade-Edge today! It would be greatly appreciated, and your votes will not go to waste!

The 60 second rule is to stop spammers, silly. And there's no cat invasion. Okay, there's the Warrior cats problem, but do you know how many would hate you if you stopped it? MILLIONS OF WARRIORS FANS.

I don't think the 60-second rule is really actually a problem.
Sure it can be annoying at times, but it stops spammers and such.
And I don't really care what is or is not on the front page, as long as it is appropriate. smile

ok ok now for my short little speech i guess:
Vote for me because I will check out the new projects and rate and review them. I will also find some not so popular projects, and take a look at them. This way, people with pretty good projects can get the amount of views, favorites, love-its or popularity that they deserve. Personally I think there is nothing wrong with the forums the way they are right now. I have no argument on the 60 second rule. As for the "cat invasion" problem, i support this project, and it should be considered as a practical solution: http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/illusionist/605695

You can't do anything anyway. The Scratch team will always be in FULL CONTROL.
