We are happy to announce the release of Scratch 1.4 ! With this new version, you can:
* ask users to input text from the keyboard (with new "ask" and "answer" blocks)
* take photos directly from built-in or USB webcams
* run Scratch on smaller screens, such as on netbook computers
* control robotics with LEGO WeDo

Not quite. The palette selection was changed so it's bigger. And, of course, it appears to a little less buggy than the release candidate.

Also, the Join block now works with decimal points and numbers! Before, it was throwing away the decimal points.

No, there were a few last minute changes. Such as when the mouse hovers over the sprite thumbnail it says the sprite name along with the scripts, and the color pallet was fixed, along with minor glitches
