What's wrong with Twilight? It's okay to me. Anyone who says it's just another vampire-love fan-fic, it came to the author in a dream. Really, what is wrong with it?

... Okay, that's it, I'm going to strangle you. I really am.
That really is no reason at all. I bet you never even read or heard a thing of the story. *throws iamprk in a pit of acid*

You're a Twilight fan? I haven't read it, and I'm not for or against it.
*asks GoogleplexPlus not to throw him into a pit of acid*

I'm not going to! And by the way, I'm not a Twilight fan, I just don't get why so MANY people despise it. I think it's okay. (by the way, I only throw people who don't have a good reason to hate Twilight in the pit of acid)

Yeah... It was featured on the front page, got nearly perfect reviews, seriously, just watch it. It's funny.

Alright. Here's why I hate Twilight. (Remember, all of this is just my personal opinion. You don't have to agree with it.)
I don't know about a lot of people, but one of the most important things for me in a book is a good plot. This is one of the main thing Twilight lacks. The "plot" of most of the book (aka the first 400 pages or so) is just Bella obsessing over Edward. Then, when some action finally comes into play, it's mostly just her being forced into running away from her problems. Then there's a short scene where stuff actually happens, which was my favorite part. But there wasn't enough leading up to it. I got bored.
Also, most of the characters are Mary Sues/Gary Stus. That means characters that are so perfect that they become insanely boring. Edward is flawless. He's an over angsty sparkly golem thing (yes, the meyerpires are closer to golems than vampires; they don't even have fangs) that doesn't burn up in sunlight or feed off humans. I personally think that's pretty lame.
And then there's Bella. She is what we call an Anti-Sue. She described as ugly, clumsy, unpopular at her old school and whatever (I don't remember to well), and still she has three plus boys who want to go out with her. Why? It doesn't make sense. And, technically, clumsiness is not a character flaw. In fact, Edward thinks it's cute. As for personality flaws, from what personality I could see in her, there weren't any flaws.
Well, I'm probably boring you by now, but I have more. I just won't post it at the moment. If you still need more of my opinions to think it's a good reason, just tell me. I'm keeping tabs on this thread.
*prays she won't be thrown in a pit of acid* >.>

I don't really like it for a few reasons,
1. I just don't like the way the book is written.
2. People freaking murder people because of this book! Really crazy fan people will KILL people who don't like it.
3. The characters are just too perfect, even Harry had flaws.
4. It ruins the point of vampires.
Are those good enough?

More than three quarters of the people who hate Twilight hate it because of the fans.
Meet a seriously obsessed Twilight fangirl, watch her reaction when someone says Twilight isnt perfect, and you'd understand why.

I hate Twilight because:
1. The two main characters are described as perfect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. It's very bothering.
2. The FANS. They bite, scratch, and scream at me for not liking this series. It only amplifies my hatred.
3. The "improvements" Meyer made to the races in the series. Sparkles? Unable to transform?! No blood lust or fear of sunlight?! That is not a vampire. It's much more of a fairy or pixie. Like seeing a gothic girl complete with piercings and tattoos walk into Holister. Completely unbelieveable.
4. As mentioned before, the plot. It's one messed up dream, if you ask me. The some 400 pages before some sort of plot is introduced is pure "I LOVE EDWARD I LOVE EDWARD I LOVE EDWARD."
(On an unrelated note, if you want a good vampire novel, read Peeps by Scott Westerfeld.
You aren't born as a vampire, you're infected by it. Once you are, you are classified as "parasite-positive" or "peep", for short. The parasite rewires your brain; things you used to love are now poison to you. You have the urge to bite and sunlight blinds you.
The story is told in first-person by a carrier of the disease: Cal Thompson. He isn't affected by the anathema, but he has the super smell, hearing, and strength that comes with being infected.)

I read and saw Twilight. the books were okay until the author completely screwed it up. The movie sucks, it's just because most girls think Edward is cute or something. *Pushes Google into an acid filled pit and gives his remains to a vampire named Edword*

I really WANT TO read it but my mom says I'm not old enough. And i don't think Edward is cute or anything.

Twilight is excessively overrated and some fangirls are too psychotic. The movie is just fine, and I haven't read the book.
Offline
you're seriously asking that?! the obvious answer is that everything and anything is wrong with Twilight.

I mean, i can't be all that bad. I've never read it, but since everryone is obsessed with it, it gets kind of old. After twilight a whole bunch of new vampirre books came out.. it as kind of annoying. But i mean, seriously it can't be that bad, no matter how annoying it is.

The fans are willing to push people who don't agree with them into acid pits?
Even worse, in real life psychotic twilight fans MURDER you if you disagree.
