This is a puzzle requiring that you draw. Use TinyPic for a reliable image hoster.
Story: A farmer died. He left his land to his 5 sons. But in order to get that land, they must divide it up using these rules:
-The property of of each must touch the property of everyone else. It cannot touch by a corner: it must be by an edge.
-None of the properties are to be in two parts.
-There must be land for each of you.
I think I forgot a rule... Well, I'll remember it later.
This is a puzzle I have been trying to solve for three years. Post your attempts because there'll be a lot!!!

It has to touch by an edge. And I'm afraid big lines don't count as edges.

Each piece has to touch every other piece.

*bangs head into wall*
this is not possible
there is no solution
its impossible
but it might be possible if you remember that last rule
is it something to do with trees?

the white lines represent property lines. also lines are an indefinite shape or size. they are indefinitely small, so the 5 properties are touching.

Yes, but it's fun to try.

i bet the last rule is that all of the land has to be equal because otherwise its easy you just draw a whole bunch of weird looking lines that connext everything and voila your done
