Rosewing dipped her shoulder and propped Owlstar up with it. "Eaglesong! help me carry him!" she yowled. icy claws gripped her gut. "don't worry, we'll get you home safe," she promised.

The twoleg stumbled and hit Eaglesong on the head with its pole, sending her stumbling on the ground. The creature raised its pole again. Owlstar guessed that's where the pain came from. "No, Rosewing! Eaglesong!" he gasped, catching for breath. "Get out of here, it'll kill you!" he yowled.

Owlstar gasped for air, his eyes darkening. He couldn't move. The twoleg leaned over him, reaching for his scruff. An awful smell came from its paws. Owlstar suddenly felt a burst of energy. He lifted his body with his front paws and bit the twoleg's paw as it was reaching to him. The twoleg made a noise, and lifted the pole, about to hit Owlstar.

Rosewing hissed at the twoleg and arched her back to try and look bigger. she charged at it and fascined her jaws around its ankle, trying to get it to pay attention to her.

The twoleg tried to fight back, and stumbled, falling on the ground. Owlstar breathed heavily. The twoleg rose to its feet and attempted to scramble away, but fell again, with all those cats attacking it..

With both of them carrying Owlstar, they managed to lift him and carry him back to the camp. The pellet was still embedded in him, and Eaglesong had no idea how they would get it out without creating an even bigger wound.

Eaglesong bristled as Owlstar said Rosewing's name, surprising herself. Growling quietly, she dipped her head to Rosewing. "Wonderful. Now we just need to make sure he doesn't loose any more blood, and that the wound doesn't become infected."
