Pastel shook in terror as the fox reached under the roots. "Somebody help me!" she caterwauled and scratched the fox's arm, causing blood to drip down.

Pastel heard the fox growl in anger, and it's paw swiped under the tree. The thorn sharp claws slashed her face, leaving a long gash on the side of her cheek. She winced as the claws pull away with clumps of fur.

Moonfrost walked out of the den. She didn't want to face Brambleheart or Goldthorn, or anyone. She didn't know who the kits' father was. "Goldthorn...I'm...I'm pregnant." She meowed, looking into his eyes.
