Saw it on the news about an hour or two ago. But I figured out he was dead when the news said that he wasn't breathing at the hospital prior to the official declaration of his death.

yea i was warching FOX 5 they went on and on about it for 30 min! They reapeted themselves about 10 times! i seriously don't understand the purpose of reapeting urself on the news.

I think it's because people get used to them repeating stuff, so they only watch the station 5 minutes, and so that if you turn it there within that 30 minutes you would be able to see it all
